For patrons who live in unincorporated Menlo Park, how are library services different?
Answer
If you live in unincorporated Menlo Park, you fall under the jurisdiction of the San Mateo County Libraries.
The eResource options available to you are listed here: https://smcl.org/online-resources/
Any eResource in our catalog with the note "San Mateo County cardholders (card begins with 29041)" should be available to you. If you wish to access resources such as Kanopy, Hoopla, etc., you can do so through the SMCL website - when registering your account with these services, you will usually be prompted to select your "home library" which will be San Mateo County Libraries, rather than Menlo Park.
Similarly, LINK+ borrowing must be done through SMCL rather than Menlo Park.
