How do I get a library card? Do I need to live in Menlo Park?

Answer

To apply for a library card, fill out this form and you will receive a temporary barcode number that can be used to immediately begin placing items on hold.

Bring your temporary barcode number along with your photo ID and proof of your current residence address (PO Box not acceptable) to the library front desk and you will be issued a card.

Acceptable forms of documentation include: Driver's license; passport; utility bill; lease or rental agreement; piece of postmarked mail

You do not need to live in Menlo Park - you just need to live in California.

There is no age limit, but if you are under 16 you will need to bring a parent or guardian to provide proof of address.
