For patrons who have a Menlo Park library card but don't live in Menlo Park, how are library services different?

Answer

If you have a Menlo Park Library card that begins with 29044 but you live outside of San Mateo County, you are considered a non-resident patron.

Most in-library resources will be available to you, but the following eResources and loan services are only available to residents of the City of Menlo Park:

  • LINK+ Borrowing
  • Kanopy streaming
  • cloudLibrary
  • Hoopla
  • Comics Plus by Library Pass
  • Tutor.com

Note that these services may be available to you through a library system in your home jurisdiction (for example, Palo Alto residents can access LINK+ and Hoopla through the Palo Alto library system!)
